Heck yeah I would! Who needs pinkies, and I could always fly south to get north; though it would mean I'd need to be able to never overshot my destination. Hmmmm.... and maybe without pinkies I wouldn't be able to sense directions well. It could be that pinkies are our tailfeathers. Oooor the authors are out to build a 20 ft tall pinkie monster to draw new comics for them. Either way - sign me up!

Problem. After having flown so far south, you will eventually reach a pole, appropriately named the south pole. Once you reach said pole, you become stranded and are only able to fly up and down. Because any other horizontal direction you woul choose to go is north. That's an awfully long walk to be able to get back to where you could fly again.

While Rubix raises a valid point, you could always fly somewhere between north and east while still not flying north and eventually reach any destination.

While flying 1 degree off of true north (loopholes ftw) to get to northerly destinations sounds wonderful, I like my pinkies. No fly zone for me.
