My brother and his girlfriend were chased by bears once.

They were hiking in Alaska together, and his girlfriend started screaming "Go away, Bear!" He thought she was joking, so he kept hiking. He looks up, and a big grizzly walks over the next hill straight towards them. He turns around, and his girlfriend is screming at a mother bear and her cub. Also headed their way. They couldn't go either way down the path, so they run into the woods. They keep running for the longest time, and then they both trip and fall. Straight into a swamp. The girlfriend lost her camera, and when they look back along the trail they've blazed, the three bears are calmly ambling their way over. They get up and decide to hike through the waist deep mud back to the ranger's station because bears don't like mud. They were p
